How To Get Baptized
How To Get Baptized?

If you want to be baptized in the Catholic Church, the first look at baptism is the requirements for parents. We must prepare for it before baptism in order to prevent inconvenience.

Requirements for Parents

1. Parents must be Catholic or at least one of them is Catholic.

2. You need to take part in a baptism seminar in your church. If you want to attend a seminar in another parish, don't forget to ask for a Certificate of Completion.

Once you have completed that requirement, let's move on to another requirement. The requirements for the Godparents.

Requirements for Godparents

Before a person can be baptized, one must be prepared to have Godparents or sponsors who do not go down at least one pair of Godparents and it should be male and female.

Universal Church law regarding baptism, Godparents must meet these criteria.

a.) The Godparents must be Catholic.

b.) The Godparents were baptized and have received Communion.

c.) The Godparents are at least 16 years old.

d.) The Godparents must live by being baptized (means living by the word of God).

If the Sponsor or the Godparents have a spouse, they must be certified to be married. Others argue about choosing a sponsor who should just let them choose a sponsor. But otherwise, we must remember that Catholic Baptism is not private but public, and that it is the official liturgy of the Catholic Church. Thus, before a person is baptized, the Catholic Church is empowered to set criteria for future godparents.

What is being done as a godparent?

After baptism, what is done as a Godparent is to help the parents and the child to live as a Christian. And to be persuasive as an example, the Godparents should live as they teach the child (Christian Life).

Note: Non-Catholics, who do not live as Christians and are not baptized into Catholicism, can not be witnesses of baptism.

Is The Word Purgatory In The Bible
Is The Word Purgatory In The Bible

What does the bible say about purgatoryCatholics believe in Purgatory BASED on what the BIBLE says that there are sins FORGIVEN in the AFTERLIFE.

In 2 Maccabees 12: 43-44 and 46 it says, "He [Judas Maccabeus] gathered together his army of up to 2,000 drachmas. They sent it to Jerusalem as an offering for the remission of their sins."

"As he did this, he did a GREAT and AMAZING thing as long as he had in mind the resurrection of the dead."

"Because if he does not expect the resurrection of the dead, praying for the dead is pointless and foolish."

"That is why he made an offering for the dead when they were RELEASED FROM SIN."

The offering for the FORGIVENESS of the SIN of the DEAD is said to be "a GREAT and AMAZING THING."

And that is said to be related to "EXPECTED [to] RESURRECTION" or RESURRECTION.

So, BELIEVING in PRAYER in the FORGIVENESS of SIN in the AFTERLIFE is PART of the BELIEF of those who HOPE in THE RESURRECTION.

The question is WHERE IS FORGIVENESS FOR SIN IN THE AFTERLIFE?

That is happening in PURGATORY.

PURGATORY comes from LATIN PURGARE which means MAKE CLEAN.

So, PURGATORY is where a person's SOUL is CLEANSED or PURIFIED.

Why is it necessary to CLEAN or CLEANSE a SOUL in the AFTERLIFE?

Because according to the BIBLE, specifically in Revelation 21:27, "NO ONE who is unclean can enter [Heaven]."

So, it is CLEAR that there is a PURGATORY in the BIBLE and its BASIS is both in the OLD TESTAMENT (2 Mac 12: 43-44, 46) and in the NEW TESTAMENT (Rev 21:27).

But NON-CATHOLICS will surely question our use of the book of MACABEO.

They will say "the Maccabees are not included in the Bible."

In the TRANSLATION they use there are probably no Maccabees, but in the ORIGINAL BIBLE based on the writings USED by JESUS, the APOSTLES and the FIRST CHRISTIANS INCLUDE the MACCABEES

THE SCRIPTURE USED by CHRIST is the SEPTUAGINT or the GREEK VERSION of the OLD TESTAMENT.

The SEPTUAGINT includes the MACCABEES and CERTAINLY READ by the LORD JESUS and the APOSTLES.

That is why the LORD JESUS Himself PREACHED THAT THERE IS MORE FORGIVENESS OF SIN IN THE AFTERLIFE.

He showed that in Matthew 12:32.

The Lord said, "Whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him."

"But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven at this time or even in the FUTURE."

The "coming time" referred here is "THE AFTERLIFE."

So, CHRIST Himself REVEALED that there is still FORGIVENESS of SIN in the AFTERLIFE.

And again, our CALL where SINS FORGIVES is PURGATORY.

In PURGATORY, the SIN of the person who has passed away is CLEANED.

So, the PURGATORY BASIS in the AFTERLIFE is CLEAR.

And it is also CLEAR that BELIEF in PURGATORY is IMPORTANT to PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A RESURRECTION. (2Mi 12: 43-44, 46)

So others who 'DO NOT BELIEVE in PURGATORY' can NO LONGER EXPECT THE RESURRECTION.

Catholic Statues And Their Meanings
Catholic Statues And Their Meanings

Question: What Really Is the Image and Statue of Catholics?

Catholics are often told why they have statues and pictures in homes and chapels because they are not the true faces of the Lord Jesus.

Images and statues are used for Catholics to remember God.

One of the statue that God commanded to make was the Cherubim.

You shall put the two cherubim of gold on the two ends of it. (Exodus 25:18)

And why did God make two cherubim of gold?

There we will meet at the Throne of Mercy, between two cherubim; there I will give you my law among the Israelites. (Exodus 25:22)

The Cherubim are a sign of where God will meet the leaders of Israel.

In short, the Cherubim are reminded of God.

The images and statues of the Saints are used to make people remember the saints so that they can imitate their obedience and love for God. They are not worshiped.

Just like the statue of the Virgin Mary we see often in chapel. It reminds people to be good mothers to children because a mother's faith will be worthless if she neglects her children.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5: 8)
Critics of the Catholic Church often ask about Black Nazarene, the Lord Jesus may not look that way, but why are we laying it on the altar, lifting it and positioning it?

These reminders do not need to look exactly like the memory.

What we are concerned about here is not his appearance but his saving us from
by the Cross. Because this is so important for our Christians,
But God was his love for us when Christ died for us
when we are a sinners. (Romans 5: 8)
When we see a statue of a bloody man, with a crown of thorns, a cross on the head and a sign "INRI" over his head, who do we remember?

Is Judas? Satan? Or The Lord Jesus?

In the Bible, stones were used to commemorate what God has done for mankind.
These stones are to remind the people of Israel of what the Lord has done. In time to come your children should ask what these stones mean. (Joshua 4: 6)
The question is, will the river and the rocks be the same?

The images or statues in the Church are not stained. Even if a Catholic kneels before a picture, it is not here that the kneeling is given or directed but to God he remembers through it.

There is nothing different about having a person take a picture of his or her loved one. There are people who kiss or hug the picture of their loved one. Someone wiped it out. Others are displayed in their offices or in their home.

Are they replacing their loved one with a picture?

We already know the answer to that.

For example, your dad died, and one of the things he used was his cup when he was still alive. If you see the cup, who do you remember with this thing, isn't your dad dead? The question is, does your dad look like a cup?

Quite simply, the images and statues for Catholics are not gods but reminders of the things God has done that Christians should remember and emulate those who are in the picture or in the statues who obey God's will. .

But, do not be discouraged. That's not the Lord's plan for you. Here's what the Bible says:

How to Explain the Trinity to a New Believer
Holy Trinity in the Bible Verse
How to explain the Trinity to a new Believer? Mostly explained that it is the three persons of  one God! We do not say that He is a human being. What we mean is that He possesses a personality, that He is a wise person who is aware of Himself. Theologians often explain the word person as "an individual with the mentality, emotion, and will." God has the intelligence (Psalm 139: 17), emotions (Psalm 78:41), and will (1 Corinthians 1: 1). So, God can say that there are three Persons appearing in this world.

If we search in Google, it clearly explained that TRINITY is the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the state of being three. If we look to the meaning of person in Webster dictionary, it explained that Persons is a character or part in or as if in a play.

The Holy Trinity in the Bible Verse

... (1). The Heavenly Father is a Person (Matthew 5:48, 6: 14,26,32, Matthew 15:13, Matthew 18:35)

... (2). The Lord JESUS CHRIST is a Person (Matthew 1: 1, 1:18, John 1:17, John 17: 3)

... (3). The HOLY SPIRIT is a Person (John 14:26, John 15:26, John 16:13, Acts 2: 4, Acts 10:44, 11:15, Acts 13: 2, Hebrews 3: 7, Genesis 1: 2 )

"For THERE are THREE (3) that bear WITNESS in HEAVEN: the FATHER, the WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT; and these THREE (3) are ONE (1)." (1 John 5: 7 KJV, AMP, NKJV).

This is how to explain the Trinity to a new Believer, I hope it helps. If you have any question, just leave a comment below to start a discussion.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee.

Mark 16:15 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Psalms 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord because they have called you an outcast:’ It is Zion, for whom no one cares!
Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 30:2-3, 5 O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol (the grave).  Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Bible Verses About Adultery
Bible Verses About Adultery
There are many simple bible verses about adultery and marriage that you should know if you want to follow Jesus Christ in the stairway to heaven. This law was given by God to Moses to give and be followed to the people of God, Israelite (Exodo 20:14). When Jesus came and saved all of us, he also gives the clearer explanations about it. We can read it in the Gospel of Matthew, Luke, and Mark. We try to examine the Gospel in Matthew.

Matthew 19:9 - And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committed adultery: and whoso married her who is put away doth commit adultery.

This verse simply showing that everyone will commit adultery when married to another man or woman. But if the husband be dead, the woman is loosed from that Law. We can read it to the book of Paul.

Romans 7:2 - For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to [her] husband so long as he lives; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of [her] husband.

Lesson:

It is very clear that marrying is not a joke, unlike any food that when it is tired of eating it can easily be extinguished. So, select the best partner in life as husband or wife.

Any suggestions and comments are welcome. Just leave a comment below.
