Catholic Statues And Their Meanings
Catholic Statues And Their Meanings

Question: What Really Is the Image and Statue of Catholics?

Catholics are often told why they have statues and pictures in homes and chapels because they are not the true faces of the Lord Jesus.

Images and statues are used for Catholics to remember God.

One of the statue that God commanded to make was the Cherubim.

You shall put the two cherubim of gold on the two ends of it. (Exodus 25:18)

And why did God make two cherubim of gold?

There we will meet at the Throne of Mercy, between two cherubim; there I will give you my law among the Israelites. (Exodus 25:22)

The Cherubim are a sign of where God will meet the leaders of Israel.

In short, the Cherubim are reminded of God.

The images and statues of the Saints are used to make people remember the saints so that they can imitate their obedience and love for God. They are not worshiped.

Just like the statue of the Virgin Mary we see often in chapel. It reminds people to be good mothers to children because a mother's faith will be worthless if she neglects her children.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5: 8)
Critics of the Catholic Church often ask about Black Nazarene, the Lord Jesus may not look that way, but why are we laying it on the altar, lifting it and positioning it?

These reminders do not need to look exactly like the memory.

What we are concerned about here is not his appearance but his saving us from
by the Cross. Because this is so important for our Christians,
But God was his love for us when Christ died for us
when we are a sinners. (Romans 5: 8)
When we see a statue of a bloody man, with a crown of thorns, a cross on the head and a sign "INRI" over his head, who do we remember?

Is Judas? Satan? Or The Lord Jesus?

In the Bible, stones were used to commemorate what God has done for mankind.
These stones are to remind the people of Israel of what the Lord has done. In time to come your children should ask what these stones mean. (Joshua 4: 6)
The question is, will the river and the rocks be the same?

The images or statues in the Church are not stained. Even if a Catholic kneels before a picture, it is not here that the kneeling is given or directed but to God he remembers through it.

There is nothing different about having a person take a picture of his or her loved one. There are people who kiss or hug the picture of their loved one. Someone wiped it out. Others are displayed in their offices or in their home.

Are they replacing their loved one with a picture?

We already know the answer to that.

For example, your dad died, and one of the things he used was his cup when he was still alive. If you see the cup, who do you remember with this thing, isn't your dad dead? The question is, does your dad look like a cup?

Quite simply, the images and statues for Catholics are not gods but reminders of the things God has done that Christians should remember and emulate those who are in the picture or in the statues who obey God's will. .

how can I stop worrying about everything and enjoy life

How to overcome worry biblically? Everyone has problems. Some have bigger problems than others but we all have them. There are problems with relationships (family, friends, or spouse), health problems, money problems, work problems, and other people problems are problematic!

As if your personal problems are not enough, there are so many problems around us that we cannot control. In our place, however, we have plenty of problems. We have a lot of natural disasters - typhoons, mudslides, floods - and man-made disasters like oil spills and electing corrupt and unknowingly politicians.

Some of us are cheerful but many are worried about the future. So our teachers and doctors go abroad to become a caregiver or nurse.

But wherever you go, there are problems. In recent years, the world has experienced many kinds of crisis; terrorist attacks in the US, Spain, and London; wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; earthquakes in Iran and Pakistan; tsunami in Indonesia and Thailand; SARS; bird flu; global warming. Only a crisis has yet to come. It is a never-ending cycle of world crisis, isn’t it?

Overcoming Worry Bible Study

Every year, Newsweek says, 30,000 Japanese commit suicide due to depression! In the Philippines, different. Only a few suicides in Filipinos, but they end up with the problem.
But, do not be discouraged. That's not the Lord's plan for you. Here's what the Bible says:

Jeremiah 29: 11 NIV
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

So, don’t discourage whatever trial you get because the Lord knows it and prepare what is good for us in exact time. This is how can I stop worrying about everything and enjoy life. If you have more question just leave a comment below to start a discussion. Enjoy your life!

How to Explain the Trinity to a New Believer
Holy Trinity in the Bible Verse
How to explain the Trinity to a new Believer? Mostly explained that it is the three persons of  one God! We do not say that He is a human being. What we mean is that He possesses a personality, that He is a wise person who is aware of Himself. Theologians often explain the word person as "an individual with the mentality, emotion, and will." God has the intelligence (Psalm 139: 17), emotions (Psalm 78:41), and will (1 Corinthians 1: 1). So, God can say that there are three Persons appearing in this world.

If we search in Google, it clearly explained that TRINITY is the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the state of being three. If we look to the meaning of person in Webster dictionary, it explained that Persons is a character or part in or as if in a play.

The Holy Trinity in the Bible Verse

... (1). The Heavenly Father is a Person (Matthew 5:48, 6: 14,26,32, Matthew 15:13, Matthew 18:35)

... (2). The Lord JESUS CHRIST is a Person (Matthew 1: 1, 1:18, John 1:17, John 17: 3)

... (3). The HOLY SPIRIT is a Person (John 14:26, John 15:26, John 16:13, Acts 2: 4, Acts 10:44, 11:15, Acts 13: 2, Hebrews 3: 7, Genesis 1: 2 )

"For THERE are THREE (3) that bear WITNESS in HEAVEN: the FATHER, the WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT; and these THREE (3) are ONE (1)." (1 John 5: 7 KJV, AMP, NKJV).

This is how to explain the Trinity to a new Believer, I hope it helps. If you have any question, just leave a comment below to start a discussion.

Understanding the Trinity
Understanding the Trinity in the Bible
The Old Testament mentions the teachings of Trinity. When God make a human, he says: "Let us make ourselves like our image and appearance" (Genesis 1:26). It is understood that the father and the Ministry are using the plural pronoun "we". In rendering his judgment, God wants to establish a tower to heaven, he says, "We descend and confuse us in some languages" (Genesis 11: 7).

At the call of the God of the prophet Isaiah, he said, "Who will I send and who will come for us?" Isaiah 6: 8. Isaiah the Prophet said, "God sent me with his Spirit." Isaiah 48:16. But there are good scriptures in the Old Testament, which means there is more than one person in God, so these fares need to be understood in the New Testament by God's revelation.

The Teaching of the Holy Church about Trinity

The church teaches that there is only one God, but in this one God has three different person: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). God has no origin. The Son from God the Father is God(John 1:1,14). The Holy Spirit is coming from the Father and Son. Each of them possesses all the conditions or characteristics of the existence of God. The idea of a god is three people, why the three different people are part of the mysterious Trinity, and the mystery of the Trinity is not completely understood by our minds. But the doctrine of the Trinity is understandable because it is necessary to know the meaning of the words used in the interpretation of this doctrine.

The nature is the essence of one thing. This is the definition of what is called. This role also creates a function that is the result of a person's role in human nature. The character of God is itself "self-existent" and does not depend on anything else. The added virtue of the existence of God is his power, all knowledge, the end of everything, and the beginning and the end. This is what the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have in common. "Man" means intuition and will. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are always familiar with their will and will therefore be called they're only or one.

Let us also notice that God shows himself in a timid way. The Old Testament teachings of the Old Testament imitate God. We also like it. It is unprepared to reveal the mysteries of the Trinity as they recognize the many gods around them, and thus the great possibility that it will be misunderstand that there are many gods in the three Gods.

Bible Verses About Music
Bible Verses About Music
There are different types of music we can hear in the world but not the same. On my own, I made two types of music called non-religious and religious music. If we discuss the bible verses about this music, there are many verses that we read of this in the very book of David's Psalms.

In bible kjv Psalm 104: 33 says;
"I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being." (bible verses about music kjv)

David's song is not like normal songs but it's a special song called a praising song. But he also urged us to do as he did to praise the heavenly heavens who are God.

In Psalms 105: 2 says;
"Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: speak ye of all his wondrous works."

Song of Praise and Worship

The divine song is a dedication to the Lord, but the new covenant James encourages us in his letter to pray to the Lord during the time we are in distress, and we will also sing a song of praise at the time we are happy.

James 5:13 - "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms."

The music we are talking about now is a challenge for us to have an act that will please the Lord our God who is the Savior.

Psalms 71:23 - "My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed."

May we learn what we are talking about bible verses about music and give us the growth in our lives, not just material things but also of spiritual things. God bless us all!

Bible Verses About Courage

Human courage not only protects oneself but also the courage of life future. If we have the courage of life we must seek the most powerful of all, the Lord of heaven and earth, that is Jesus Christ. We should trust him because we cannot do any success without his blessing in our struggle.

Now the question is, what does the Bible say about courage? We have many bible verses about courage even in old testament or even in the new covenant. This is to give importance to the book of Deuteronomy saying;

Deuteronomy 31:6 (Bible kjv) old testament
"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."

This encourages us to live a life of boldness, not to worry about anything because we have a savior who is the Lord God. He will help us if we trust in him and believe in him. Not our own understanding is fundamental but we rely on God because his plan is the best plan for us and will lead us to a better path.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (Bible kjv) old testament
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Bible Verses About Courage New Testament

Not only in the old testament have inspirational bible verses about courage, but we also read the new testament. For example, what Paul said to Timothy;

2 Timothy 1:7 (Bible kjv) new testament
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

We know that God is the one who gives us power not to fear, that is, if we fear, another creature that gives it, so please don’t fear. God also gives love and peace of mind, so we need to take his grace seriously. Paul was very bold to speak to the Philippians;

Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Jesus Christ also left us with joyful words; what does the bible say about?

John 16:33 - "These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Mark 5:36 - "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he said to the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe."

That are the best bible verses about courage that we should apply in our daily living. Jesus Christ himself urges us not to fear anything and to assure us that he is the agent of all, he is our savior. We will thank and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ the Savior! Amen.

Bible Verses About Light
Bible Verses About Light
When we talk about the light on the spiritual side, the light represents it to Christ.

John 8:12 "And Jesus said to them again," I am the light for the world, and he who leads me will never walk in darkness, but will have life in the light. "

He is our light or light in our lives especially in our souls. Because he also brought the word life. He is the word spoken and said "the word is the light of my step and the light of my path."

Psalm 119: 105 "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."

This talk mentioned here is the light of the lamp, this is the holy scripture (bible). If we read this book more and more in its contents we will have the light of life that will lead to salvation.

Jesus Christ is the redeemer of all the peoples of the world, where we are all raised with the resurrection of ours, and we are redeemed of our iniquities, which God the owner of our body and soul loved redeeming us, the blood of our only child of God is the cause of our sins. But it does not mean that we are to serve the flesh and to await the final judgment, but to put on the virtue of Jesus Christ as the virtue of God, and to live our lives with God.

Let us live a life of prayer, thanksgiving, pity and suffering. Let us always glorify God and guide us in our efforts, our employment and our life's desires and always thank us not only for the grace but also for the persecutions we have experienced. We have to deal with God always in prayer and worship and it is worthwhile to receive the body of Jesus Christ constantly to strengthen our souls and to bring evil spirits away.

Jehovah in the bible

The Name "Jehovah" is The Translation to English languages which will be translated by "Charles Russell" from Hebrew text. That is the four letters [YHWH] as the tetragrammaton [YHWH-Yahweh] in Hebrew languages with translated in English & Tagalog Version [JHVH-Jehovah], and, the name of the child "Yahshua / Yeshua” was translate by Charles Russell in English (Jesus) and in Tagalog (Hesus), all of those names was accepted and used to any believer in the correct way.

Below are the verses that help you for this topic.

Psalm 83: 18

Exodus 6: 2,3

John 14: 6

John 17: 6-8

John 17: 25,26

You can also read it to 2 Peter 1:20,21

Note: There is no capital Letter “J” In Alphabetical Hebrew-Aramaic. The way you can say it will defend on each language you are using.

Throughout the Holy Scriptures God reveals Himself to us by His name, and when we study the names He reveals to us in the Bible, we better understand who God is. The meaning of God's name reflects the central person and character of the One who brought them. Sanctifying something is, sanctifying or being worthy of all devotion. To sanctify the Name of God is to think of Him with all devotion and loving praise. God's name is most important (Nehemiah 9: 5); therefore, we need to dedicate the position that is very important to our minds and hearts. We should not do his name with just simple (Exodus 20: 7; Leviticus 22:32), but always rejoice over it and think of its true meaning. Now that you know the real meaning of Jehovah, you must also know the real thing that can make you holy in the name of God the father through Jesus Christ the savior. Amen.

What is the true sabbath day saturday or sunday

What is the original Sabbath according to the bible? Some sects continue to believe in the principle of the SABBATH'S remains commandments that must be applied to CHRISTIANS.

Is the SABBATH remains commandments that must be applied to CHRISTIANS?

So, let's give us an opportunity to study the subject so we can answer any questions about this.

When did Sabbath observance begin to be ordered? And what is the so-called Sabbath?
Exodus 20: 8-11 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days, the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."
God clearly explained to us that the Sabbath is the REST DAY and that he has been commanded in MOISES 'Time. So far they are still following, and that's why some Jews have SABBATH ELEVATOR, which will automatically release it during the Sabbath. It is evidently carried out in this way:
"Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God"
This is equivalent to the so-called "REST DAY" or a day's break from work or occupation, which was then the time of Moses.

What is the reason and the ISRAEL is commanded by God to perform SABBATH?
Deuteronomy 5:15 "You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day."
The reason why the ISRAEL was ordered to follow the SABBATH commandment because the Israelite were saved from slavery in the Egyptian nation. This is the reason why there was SABBATH on Saturday, for the Jews to remember God's saving time in Moses' day.

So here we are clearly able to answer the Question: Is the SABBATH on Saturday remains commandments that must be applied to CHRISTIANS?

ANSWER: No, no! because this command is EXCLUSIVE or unique to the ISRAELITE that God saves from slavery from Egypt. This is the law of the Lord God for Israel.

But of course, some sects do not allow that, and they will say that Saturday Sabbath is part of the commandments in [Exodus 20: 1-17] that CHRISTIANS must fulfill.

And they said Jesus does not abolish the Law of Moses that we can read it in the book of Saint Matthew;
Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
So, they said, it is clear that the Lord Jesus has said that he has not come to destroy the law but to fulfill or fulfill it, and because part of the LEGAL COVENANT LAW is the Sabbath, so, it does not happen that Christ will not impose on Christians.

Is that true? Well, here are some of the examples of Old Testament Commandments that are not applicable to Christians:

Examples of Old Testament Laws that have not been applied to Christians

1. The circumcision of the men who were also commanded (Leviticus 12: 3) was not imposed on the Apostles' Christians (Acts 15: 1-32).

2. The law to apply for the love and the love of God (Leviticus 24:20) was also implemented, but Christ made it clear that today's law is not (Matthew 5: 38-39).

That's just some of the examples of Old Testament RIGHTS that are very clear in the Bible that are not being applied in Christian times or in our day, that even our other sects friends do not deny that.

What does this mean? If there are any commandments that have been damaged or not implemented in the Christian era, then is there a contradiction in the statement of Christ in Matthew 5:17?

For the light of what he said, let's go back:
Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
It is very clear that Jesus said that he would not destroy the CONDITIONS, but in reality and we have shown that there are LAWS from the OLD TESTAMENT that are not being implemented, so if we think that the consequence is a CONSIDER. Is it a conflict? No, since Jesus did not say that "ALL commandments" he referred to, he simply said "commandments" not "ALL THE LAW", so we ask Christ Himself, which is what HE says he does not will he destroy it? The Lord Jesus himself will answer us:
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you when I was yet with you, that it was expedient for all things to come. THAT IS ABLE TO ABOUT ME ON THE MOUTH OF MOSES, AND THE PROPHETS AND Psalms."
Jesus' statement is so clear that there is no contradiction because the commandments he referred to us that must be fulfilled is the commandments that: REQUIRED TO COME TO ALL THINGS ABOUT ME ABOUT ME OF MOSES, PROPHETS AND PSALMS prophecies. Only things about Jesus or referring to Jesus, such as PROPHECIES of MOSES about JESUS, and even written in the SONGS OF SOLOMON. These are the ones he fulfilled at his coming. That is what he meant in Matthew 5:17 that he would fulfill, the LAWS ONLY with his or her CONFIDENCE. Your RESPONSIBILITIES that are not ABOUT him are the LAWS that will not be fulfilled, and that is the many parts of MOISES 'COURSES that are not implemented in the CHRISTIANS.
LUKE 16:16 The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it.
It is evident in the Bible that MOISES 'S CONSEQUENCE has come into force: the Gospel of the Lord has been fulfilled, only at the time before John the Baptist arrives, and this is the beginning of the Christian period, so SABBATH in Saturday, because part of THE MOUTH OF MOSES is no longer enforced by CHRISTIANS.
Colossians 2:16 "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath."
That is the doctrine of Christian, we are no longer subject to follow of MOSES LAW for the Saturday Sabbath. That's why we do not have the Bible to read that SABBATH on Saturday still implement to CHRISTIAN, because it is no longer a LAW or DUTY that applies to them.

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to comment here. God bless!

Ten Commandments in the Bible

Let's talk about the ten commandments of God according to the Bible, which is written in the old covenant that God commanded for the people of Israel. God saw that the Israelite did not do well so he made this commandment so that they could see what was right and wrong.

This God's command was still in effect by God to the Israelite, but none of them fulfilled it before God. We read the Ten Commandments bible verses in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21.

Ten Commandments in the Bible

1. I am the Lord your God. Do not worship false gods.

2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

3. Obey the day of the Sabbath.

4. Respect your father and your mothers.

5. Do not kill.

6. Do not commit adultery.

7. Do not steal.

8. Do not make accusations and do not lie.

9. Do not covet what is not yours.

10. Do not covet your neighbor's spouse.

It is God's 10 commandments summary that he gave for the people of Israel. No other generation was called God's people in ancient times but only Israel's people. But when it comes to Christ, all who believe in him are called God's people, so there is no difference between the Jews and the Gentiles, but Christians follow Christ's command, that's why they are called "Christians". If you have a commentary, please give it a try below. God bless us!

catholic baby baptism

Why do you baptize children? This is often the question of people who do not know the doctrine of Catholic baptism. Some non-Catholics also believe that Baptism is necessary and gives us freedom from sin. But many protesters also think that it is only a symbol of the desire to follow Christ, without the real effect of the soul. While most Protestants agree that Baptism is a good idea, many do not believe it is necessary; and many think that it is not biblical to baptize children. Some fundamentalists believe that baptism by immersion only accepts.

What Is the Method of Catholic Baptism?

The Catholic Church teaches that Baptism is necessary for salvation and change, which causes us to be born again with the Spirit that is regarded as the children of God. Through Baptism we receive the life-giving, divine blessing of the Holy Spirit. This blessing removes the original sin that shines on every soul because of the fallen attributes we inherited from Adam and Eve (Isaiah 51: 5). Church authorization by baptism is to be baptized by water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19), as the primary path to God through his Church. The Church baptizes infants from earlier times and continues to do so now. The Church also taught in Catechism that Baptism should follow in order to properly assist the baptized in his Christian journey. Both sinking and sprinkling are acceptable forms of baptism in the Catholic Church.

Why is it that Roman Catholic baptism does not sink?

Answer: Because Catholic baptism is a baptism in the Holy Spirit. We can read that letter in the Acts;

Acts 1: 5
[5] For truly John baptized with water; but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit no sooner.

And this baptism in the Holy Spirit is Christ's baptism. That's what we read in San Mateo's letter;

Matthew 3:11
[11] In truth I baptize you with water for repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, that I am not worthy to bear his shoe: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Our friends, it's very clear that the baptism is better in the Holy Spirit because it is Christ's baptism that brings salvation.

Why is the child baptized, what to get a baby for baptism?

Answer: Children should be baptized in Catholics because our children are among the promises of God. That's what we read about;

Acts 2: 38-39
[38] And Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call upon him.

Did you read it? It is very clear that the child is with Christ's promise of salvation.

I hope you understand this explanation of Catholic baptism, why Catholics baptize on that ways. If you still do not understand, please comment below.

Jesus Christ

Some say that Jesus Christ is just a man, or perhaps a good teacher. But the Bible says that Jesus is unique to his character and to his purpose. He was not only a spiritual during his time on earth; He is the Son of God who became flesh (John 1:14, John 3:16). Yes, He is a perfect human, but He (Jesus) is also a perfect God (Colossians 2: 9).

The doctrines

They say that Jesus Christ is a God. It may be difficult to understand how this may be true, but it is important to remember that God is more thoughtful than we can understand. We know that Jesus said that he existed before Abraham (John 8:58). He said that HE (Jesus Christ) and his Father was one (John 10:30).

He not only claimed that He was God, but He also said he had the power of God. He said he had the authority to judge the people (Matthew 25: 31-46). He told his authority to judge (John 5:27) and forgive sins (Mark 2: 5-7). The things God can do (1 Samuel 2: 6; Isaiah 43:25).

Moreover, Jesus said that he had the power to answer the prayers (John 14: 13-14), and He would be with his followers always (Matthew 28:20). The New Testament refers to Jesus in the creation of the universe (John 1: 3), and in John 16:15, He says, "All things belong to the Father are mine."

Did Jesus say, 'I am God'?

If someone says to you, "I am God," will you believe in him? Many people who believe in one God are thinking that man is blaspheming. Even though Jesus said the exact words, "I am God," many people do not believe in Him or even hear what He will say. However, He gave us reasons to believe in such claims without using these words.

In Luke 4: 8, Jesus said, "It is written, 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'" And what happen in Matthew 4:11? The Angels came and serve to him! Then, He also said and showed many times that He was the Lord. For example, Jesus said He was "the first and the last" (Revelation 1:17, 22:13), which God the Father says in Isaiah 44: 6. He also clearly said that he is the Lord (John 13:13).

But you are probably looking for a place in the Bible where Jesus says, "I am God; worship me", in exact words. If we suggest that Jesus can only claim to be God by saying that one sentence, we can also ask where He says, "I am a great teacher, but not God," or, "I am just a prophet; do not worship me. "The Bible also does not say those words.

The good news is that Jesus told us that He is God in many different ways! He explained that He and God the Father are one (John 10:30), and says in John 14: 6, "I am the way and the truth and the life." Who else can get these things except God?

Does that mean that many Gods?

Believing Jesus as God does not mean that has many gods. It is difficult to understand, but Jesus' followers believe in one God in three persons (God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit). God is one but has three roles, as a person can now be a father, an employee and a spouse. Every person of God (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) has a separate function, but everyone is united as a God-with a purpose, ability and nature, and equal in power and glory.

Bible Verses About Food

There are many verses in the bible talking about spiritual food issue. Some verses are avoided on eating some foods while the other verses say that we can eat all foods. In Old Testament, the bible said that you should not eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it (Genesis 9:4). That message was specified only for his people Israelite; you can read it in a whole chapter of Genesis 9 to make it clear for you. God gave this message to some reasons: [1] God want his people (Israelite) unique to other countries that surround them. [2] God want to test them how much of their faith in him. [3] God taught them in the first lesson how to clean the self. But when Jesus Christ came, no more clean and unclean foods, he stopped that law for his follower because nobody becomes good in the eyes of God on following the law of food (Hebrews 13:9). Jesus Christ tell them that any kind of foods cannot make you dirty (in spiritual food situation), all kind of foods can be eat, and is acceptable in God’s eyes (Mark 7:18-19).

In the new testament when apostles was newly convert to Christianity, they still allow people to follow the law of food (Acts 15:29), so that people don’t be surprised and feel heavy to the new doctrine in Christianity. In the long run, they slowly change the doctrine, but everyone is free to follow either what they believe is good or bad. That’s why that time Paul said to believers that those eat anything don’t judge to the one who eat only vegetables, and those eat only vegetables don’t judge to the one who eat anything, for God has accepted them (Romans 14:3).

Summary

Now that you recognize the bible verses about food what do you think?  I can say that foods is no longer the basis for the redemption because Paul said that food is not the basis to become good to the eyes of God or bad for us if we don’t eat it, or good for us if we do (1 Corinthians 8:8). According to Paul that we can eat anything, and do it to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:25, 31), so, every time we eat food we should give thank to the Lord and don’t let anyone judge you for eating any kind of foods (Colossians 2:16-17). Hope it helps to clear your mind about spiritual food. Thanks’ be to God!
