Other religious group don’t want to see the cross because they learn that those hung on a tree is curse. Yes, that is happen many times before Christ and that was have in the bible that those hung on a tree and died on it is curse. Many people hung on a tree because of not follow the law. But Jesus Christ is different situation; he hung on the cross for redemption. He makes it with the intention that Gentiles will also receive the blessing (Holy Spirit) same as God promised to Abraham, through faith. The cross of Jesus is symbolized for the new life and a symbol of salvation because all our manly habits were already crucified with Christ on the cross (Galatians 5:24).

Why Christian in Catholic Church have cross on their temple, cross in necklace, and they are making a sign of cross? Some people don’t agree for having a cross or even a sign of it because they think that wearing the cross is idolatry. Yes, everybody should know that cross become an idol if only you replace it as God. But if you just show it as a reminder of Christ and his sacrifice for us, if you wearing necklace because you proud of Jesus for saving us, and to show it into people so that everyone sees it will commit to memory how Jesus saved us, there are no verses disagree with that.

What does the bible say about the cross? There are lot of bible verses proving that the cross of Jesus must be respect. Presenting the cross of Jesus or showing it in the pole is the way to show the message of the cross as soon as people see it, and those who believe will be saved. That is the reason why Jesus Christ commands us to make same as Moses did, when God told him to make a replica of a poisonous snake hanging on the pole, so that everyone who simply looks at it will live (Numbers 21:7-9). Jesus Christ said; same as Moses did to the replica of a snake hanging on the pole, the son of man (means Jesus Christ) must hang also on the same situation, so that those who believe will be saved (John 3:14).

Those who are headed for destruction the message of the cross is thoughtless, but for us who are being saved understand that it is the big power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18). The cross of Jesus must be proud, must be put it in our body showing that we are saved using the cross of Jesus Christ, that is what Paul did in the book of (Galatians 6:14,17).

There is no violation in the bible on making and wearing a graven image of Jesus in the cross, in fact God told to Moses to make a replica of a snake. It is true that God avoid us to make any graven images of gods, but the image of true God and any graven images he instruct to make, is not prohibited in any verses of the bible (Exodus 25:22; Ezekiel 41:18-22). The cross of Jesus represent to our salvation and we must proud of it like Paul did by showing the cross in his body that also symbolized that he is a Christian.
